"The purpose of your existence lies in the evolution of your soul through the giving of your self to the achievement of your vision, and to the people who share their lives with you along the way." ―Yasuhiko Genku Kimaru
Introduction to Embodied Vertical Leadership Training
This workshop has been designed around the most effective practices to support vertical leadership development that we have learned over many years of focus on this topic. (Advocates for vertical leadership development include Harvard Business Review, The Center for Creative Leadership, and Forbes.)
Our experience is that if you want to become a better leader in and of your own life, then the most effective approach is through a process that is embodied, experiential, interactive and social.
You can expect this workshop to be more like a (psychological) workout, than a school course in which you are taught new ideas or concepts. If you want to learn mental knowledge, you can read a book. Our intention is only peripherally to convey new knowledge. The main focus of this work is on cultivating new inner skills and resources.
The structure and multiple processes of this retreat are based on many influences, notably including the field of Integral Psychology and the practice of Action Inquiry.
If you join us you will experience a journey through the spectrum of adult development. The journey includes somatic (body-based) learning, emotional development, mental learning, and development on the level of the depth and breadth of your awareness. You will be supported and challenged to trust more in the intelligence of your body and your heart so that they can be better integrated with your rational mind.
This workshop will be led by Jesse Mckay with support from Carolina Pascowitch.
Our commitment to you - should you decide to join us - is that you will leave with grounded ideas and practices to support you on the journey of psychological development that is the rest of your life.
This two-day workshop will be offered on Jan 7-8, Jan 14-15, Feb 11-12, March 11-12, and May 6-7, 2023 in São Paulo
