NADIA

Nadia is passionate about the conscious development of the self and others, for a beautiful and sustainable planet.


She is co-founder of the Generating Transformative Change (GTC) Africa leadership development programme (by Pacific Integral), and a founding member of the Association of Women in Boldness (AWiB), for which she led Strategic Leadership processes and served as a Board Member. She also has 20 years of experience in facilitating systems and organizational change, through cross-cultural training, mentoring, executive and group coaching, and the training of other trainers and mentors.

Nadia has worked with change agents, women, youth, entrepreneurs, civil servants and senior-level managers from not-for-profit organizations, UN agencies, and teams from diverse backgrounds in the rural and urban settings in Africa and Europe, to engage in peace building and short and long-term capacity building processes. Her clients have included the British Council Sudan, the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the European Union, the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, UNDP New York, Heineken Ethiopia, Awash Wine PLC, Sabahar PLC, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) and the International Institute of Education (IIE).

Having a background in the humanities, Nadia then served in the not-for-profit sector for ten years, and as a Communication Specialist and Media Focal Point for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), before shifting her work to how she serves currently.

Experiencing transformation through healing at different levels, she has it at heart to support others in facing the dilemmas of their lives and the processing of difficult moments, through one-on-one support and the nurturing of Communities of Practice.

Nadia received her B.A in History and Literature from the University of Exeter, UK, and coaching certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). She is a Certified Management Consultant with the Ethiopian Management Institute (EMI) and is completing her certification to become an Analyst/ Scorer for Adult Stages of Development with Terri O'Fallon of StAGES International.

Nadia resides in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she lives with her husband, son, and extended family.
