"To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go" ― Mary Oliver

INNER CONTAINMENT

Inner Containment is the capacity to hold intensity:

To be a container for it so that it has a chance to mature into a higher understanding and greater connection to ourselves and others.

Some people advocate things like beating up pillows to release energy.  That approach is for people who either don't know the value of their own life energy, or don't have the capacity to use it productively.

Much more is possible if we learn to be with and contain all of ourselves.
